Quality of 10g clay poker chips depends upon their inherent ratio of clay

two types:
All clay chips:
All clay chips are made of 99% clay content with a very little ratio of plastic.
These chips are generally available in the lighter weights, so not many stores
will carry this poker chips’ weight. These chips are of very superior quality
and are frequently used by professionals.
Clay composite chips:
These chips are made of 75% clay and 25% plastic. Since plastic is a very light
weight material, some metal is also inserted into these chips in order to adjust
their weight. These chips are easily available in the 10gm weight category. Clay
composite chips are far cheaper than pure clay chips and therefore are a perfect
option for those who do not want to invest too much in poker chips. Though not
many manufacturers make 10g composite poker chips
There is a major quality and cost difference between the aforementioned two
types of 10g clay poker chips. However, if you compare them with ABS composite
chips; you will find that investing in clay chips is probably the better option.
If you have no budget constraints; you can opt to buy all clay chips. However,
if you do not want to spend too much, ABS composite chips can give you as good a
game as any other type of poker chips.
