Composite poker chips are made in a variety of weights ranging from 4 grams, 5 grams, 7.5 grams, 9 grams to 11.5 grams. The most popular weight for ABS composite chips are the 11.5 gram chips. Composite poker chips are made with a plastic body.  However, the chips doesn't have the feel of a plastic exterior surface. The plastic is compressed to create a rock solid exterior surface.
